BAC Bank Allows Clients to Use Google Wallet
Starting today, BAC will allow cardholders to add their cards to Google Wallet to make simple and secure contactless payments through their Android and WearOS devices. BAC credit and debit card users in Panama will be able to be added to Google Wallet, allowing users to make transactions anywhere contactless payments are accepted. Cardholders will also be able to store loyalty cards, boarding passes, and event tickets in their Google Wallet. The Google Wallet allows you to make payments safely, thanks to its multiple security measures that are added to those already present on BAC MasterCard and VISA cards. Security and privacy are built into every part of the Wallet, with actual card numbers remaining private, keeping users and issuers protected.
Also, if your device is lost or stolen, you can use the “Find My Device” feature to lock it, secure it with a new password, or erase all personal information instantly. “As leaders in the banking sector and payment methods in Panama, at BAC we are excited to announce the incorporation of Google Pay to the portfolio of contactless payment services with our credit and debit cards. With this innovation, our customers will be able to carry out their transactions easier, faster and more securely from the Google Wallet. This is how we validate our purpose of reimagining Panamanian banking” commented Fernando Jaen, VP Marketing & Communication of BAC Panama. To start using Google Wallet, download the app from the Google Play Store today.
