Another Tropical Wave will Impact Panama Tonight
The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (IMHPA) has issued a warning about the arrival of Tropical Wave No. 6 to Panamanian territory, expected for tonight or the first hours of tomorrow.
Originating in Venezuela, this wave is moving towards the eastern area of Panama, with forecasts of intense rains and storms in various regions of the country. The entry of this tropical wave could result in disruptions to transportation and public services, as well as affect outdoor activities.
Given these weather conditions, the population is recommended to follow these precautions: Avoid areas prone to flooding and landslides, unplug electronic devices during thunderstorms to avoid damage and stay informed through IMHPA updates and other media.
