Bimbo Bread celebrates 17 years of operations in Panama, with the commitment to feeding a better world, as stated this Wednesday during a meeting with journalists. “We arrived in 2007 by acquiring a local company, we have two production lines: Breads and Pastries,” commented the company.

For Bimbo, white bread is the star product.  “We have made many relevant investments in production, manufacturing, technology and green energy systems, because we believe that we have to have a responsibility with the country and with the community in which we serve.  So these 17 years have been of great satisfaction, of many challenges, of many transformations, but we are sure that Bimbo will be in Panama for a long time,” explained Vivian Carles, General Manager of Grupo Bimbo Panama.

The group reported restructuring that maintains the manufacturing of industrial bakeries at its headquarters located in Carrasquilla.
