Panamanian Exports Increase Compared To This Time Last Year

Panamanian exports reached $187.7 million in the first quarter of 2024, registering an increase of 2.3% to total $259.4 million, compared to the $253.5 million invoiced in the same period last year.  The data published by the intelcom.gob.pa platform of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries details that of the total exported between January and March, $187.7 million correspond to traditional products exported and registered by Panamanian companies and $71.7 million were external sales of added value by companies that operate in special regimes such as the Colón Free Zone, Panama Pacifico and other free zones.
