Happy Birthday Ricardo Martinelli

A group of residents of El Chorrillo and the 8-3 circuit led by the candidate for deputy and mayor of Panama, Sergio “Chello” Gálvez, gathered outside the Nicaraguan embassy, ​​to sing Happy Birthday to former president Ricardo Martinelli, who remains in political asylum at that location. Martinelli’s followers waved “Realizado Metas” flags and sang the song “El Rey” to the accompaniment of a mariachi.  “We love you Martinelli, we love you! Cheer up Ricardo, nothing has been lost, a little more and we will win the battle!  From here and there, Martinelli is your dad” shouted the chorrilleros amidst applause. Ricardo turned 72.  Martinelli along with his brother Marioa watched what was happening from a window and thanked his followers.  The general secretary of Realizing Goals, Luis Eduardo Camacho, joked and exclaimed that after that demonstration of affection towards Martinelli, now “they don’t sleep in the Presidency; neither does the news anchor!
