Civil unrest leads United Airlines to cancel flights to Panama

The airline’s measure, valid for November 16 and 17, affects the operations of three scheduled flights between Panama and Houston.

The mishaps that have caused road blockages in Panama City caused United Airlines to cancel three flights scheduled between November 16 and 17.

Information from the company indicates that the canceled return is UA1034, from Houston, which ends up impacting the itineraries of flights UA727 and UA1031, which will not operate this November 17,  because the planes are not in the country.

On its website, United indicated that flights to and from Panama may be affected by “civil unrest,” so users are offered the opportunity to reschedule their flights, without additional charges.
