Second Panama heat warning   – It will feel like 48C

The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (Imhpa) issued a surveillance notice for the entire country on the morning of Friday, July 21, due to the high thermal sensation.

An important point in the Imhpa report is that the thermal sensation can be perceived with temperatures between 32 and 48 degrees Celsius.According to Imhpa experts, this surveillance notice will be in effect from 9:33 am to 8:00 pm .

The areas under this advisory are the provinces of Chiriquí, Veraguas (south and center), Los Santos, Herrera, Coclé, Panamá Oeste, Panamá, Colón and Darién and the Guna Yala and Emberá regions.

The alert is not valid for the province of Bocas del Toro.
