2 women assault and rob Danish tourist and flee by taxi

Fast action by the National Police earned the gratitude of a  Danish tourist who was assaulted and robbed in Bella Vista on Sunday by two women who hailed a taxi to escape. Deputy Commissioner Edgardo Núñez said they were notified through the watchdog program and control devices were immediately activated.

Police units managed to reach the two women and apprehend them  in flagrante delicto.

“The evidence was recovered, which includes the tourist’s personal wallet, his credit cards, as well as cash,” said the deputy commissioner.

The tourist thanked the effective work of the National Police and said that he had already visited the country at least three times and feels satisfied.
