Damaged truck causes early morning traffic chaos

From early Friday morning, a massive traffic jam was generated on the Centenario road towards the capital city after an articulated truck suffered mechanical damage in front of the Rod Carew stadium. National Police units arrived at the scene to carry out transit work while towing service personnel try to remove the truck from the road.

According to preliminary reports, the truck loaded with merchandise went out of control when it suffered mechanical damage when it tried to climb the hill in front of the Rainforest residential area, near the Rod Carew stadium in the direction of the capital city. The truck jackknifed and blocked three lanes of the highway, causing vehicular traffic to be seriously affected from the early hours of the morning.
