Sahara dust warning for Panama

 

Panama’s Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued Surveillance Notice No. 1 for the entry of Sahara Dust in various sectors of the country which can generate hazy and reddish sky conditions, and could also affect the population that is very sensitive to allergic respiratory symptoms.

The notice is valid from 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, until 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 10, with the highest concentrations expected for Sunday, April 9.
