Tnree children hospitalized after hostel fire
Three minors aged one, four, and nine years old are in the Children’s Hospital after suffering burns on their bodies, when a fire broke out in a room of a hostel where they lived in Curundú.
Residents of the site tried to put out the flames while waiting for the firefighters to arrive. In the end, four apartments were damaged.
One of the residents stated that the incident occurred at 6:00 am, due to a short circuit. She said that the system has been deficient and that they have filed a complaint, but no one attends to them.
The fire was attended by units from the Calidonia, Plaza Amador, and Balboa fire stations.
