250 hectares of mangroves replanted to combat illegal logging

 

To contribute to the conservation of the various mangrove ecosystems and improve the living conditions of local populations, the Ministry of the Environment is developing a project for the recovery of the areas most affected by illegal mangrove logging, in Chame Bay.

the Chame Bay area covers a total area of 6,774.23 hectares of the Panamanian Pacific slope in the province of Panama.
