Panama analyzing increase in noise pollution fines
Panma the City Council is analyzing a “considerable increase” in sanctions for businesses that flout noise level laws said Mayor José Luis Fábrega after the residents of some 10 neighborhoods in Juan Díaz denounced the high volume of music in a car wash that disturbs coexistence and prevents falling asleep.
According to those affected, the excessive noise is from Thursday to Monday morning, and although they have made several reports they do not receive answers or solutions.
Fábrega stated that people can make their complaints on the website of the Municipality of Panama, and the Municipal Surveillance line 506-9637.
