Lawyer linked to multiple murders appears in court
At least 35 pieces of evidence, including documents and testimonials, were presented on Wednesday by the superior prosecutor of San Miguelito, Zulma Dip, in the trial against attorney Zoraida Saucedo for her alleged connection to the murders of Canadian citizen Miomir Kotlica, 62, and the Panamanian Miguel Páez, 27, in San Antonio, San Miguelito, in October 2017.
In the trial, which began Tuesday behind closed doors, the prosecution opened its participation with the presentation of its theory of the case and announced the presentation of witnesses, experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Science, and documentary evidence that, in its criterion, link the accused with the charges.
Saucedo is also linked to the crimes of María Elena Vallarino, 46, and the Italian Furio Ferrari, 70, whose bodies were found in Las Cumbres, also in 2017.
