81.4% of covid deaths were unvaccinated
The Ministry of Health (Minsa), reports that 81.4% of people who have died of Covid-19 since January of this year – when Operation PanavaC-19 began – were not vaccinated with any dose against covid -19.
The report also reveals that 9.1% had a single dose in place, while 9.5% of the deceased did have two doses applied.
The data comes from information collected until October 22 and also details that of the patients in Intensive Care Units, 67% are not vaccinated with any dose.
The report concluded that “for the 15th consecutive week the number of recovered exceeds the active cases and 1,118 fewer positive cases are reported than the previous week, with a downward trend in cases.”
To date , 5,789 616 doses of vaccines against covid-19 have been applied in the country.
