COVID-19:  Two deaths, positivity falls to 6.8%

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) listed just two deaths from Covid-19 in its Sunday, August 15 report raising the accumulated number of deaths rises to 6,951.

For this Sunday, 563 new positive cases of coronavirus are reported, after the application of 8,231 tests (positivity of 6.8%). On Saturday, the positivity was 6.9% after 12,000 tests

Active cases total 10,555. There are 458 hospitalized 338 of them are in the ward and 120 in intensive care units.
