27,000 people hit by rains in Bocas. alerts for other areas
At least 27,000 people have been affected, by the rains in Bocas del Toro where a red alert remains in place while yellow and green alerts have been issued for much of the country.
According to a report from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), the rains caused flooding in 27 sectors of the province and affected 27,175 people and 5,435 homes.
Nine temporary shelters were set up in the Almirante and Changuinola sectors

The Ministry of Health reported that the vaccination program against Covid-19 with the sweeping strategy was suspended in Bocas del Toro and will be carried out later. The doses will be diverted to other circuits.
