Weather alert continues through Monday

The Panama Civil Protection Service (Sinaproc) warned that swell, rough seas, strong waves, and increased rip currents will be recorded on the Pacific coast until June 21 in the Panamanian Pacific, according to reports from Etesa.

Waves of between 0.5 and 2.5 meters in height and winds of between 15 and 35 kilometers per hour are expected. The areas under alert are the Gulf and Bay of Panama, Los Santos and South of Veraguas; and the Gulf of Chiriquí.

Sinaproc reminds the population, especially bathers and boats, to take precautionary measures against this phenomenon.
