Walkiria Chandler, one of the three deputies who prepared the report on abuses in state-subsidized shelters, has warned that the case is “fading,” without those responsible having been punished. It is not the first time that Chandler has expressed this concern reports La Prensa Three weeks ago, after a visit to Attorney General Javier Caraballo, she said  that “people who are quite important or powerful within the government have not been arrested.”  Meanwhile, the youthful activists who for weeks gathered daily in front of the Senniaf headquarters or on Avenida Balboa are seeking another cause.
