Meghan Markle saddened by harrassment report

AF P – Meghan Markle the wife of Prince Harry, is “saddened” by allegations of harassment dating back to her days as a member of the British royal family revealed just days before a potentially explosive interview, her spokeswoman said Wednesday.
The Times newspaper reported that in October 2018 Jason Knauf, then Harry and Meghan’s communications secretary, filed a complaint of workplace harassment.
As a result of this, a spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex said that she is “saddened by this latest attack on her person, especially as a person who has been Harassed herself and is deeply involved in supporting those who have suffered trauma” .
Meghan “is determined to continue her work to advocate for compassion around the world and will continue to strive to lead by example to do the right thing,” she added.
The couple’s lawyers told The Times that the newspaper was “being used by Buckingham Palace to sell a completely bogus story” ahead of the broadcast, scheduled for Sunday, of a highly anticipated interview of Harry and Meghan by a star of American television Oprah Winfrey.
