Former First Lady on seized plane

The former First Lady of Panama, Marta Linares de Martinelli. and her daughter-in-law were aboard the plane belonging to her husband ex-president Ricardo Martinelli when it was seized at a Guatemala airport on Friday at the request of the United States reports Radio Panama.

They were on their way to visit the two Martinelli sons in a military prison where they have been held since their arrest on July 6 last year awaiting extradition to the USA to face money laundering charges.
