Parque Omar reopens

Parque Omar opened its gates from 5:00 am to 8:00 m  on Thursday, January 14.

All biosafety regulations such as masks and physical distancing must be met.

“We know that exercising outdoors allows us to strengthen our physical and mental health. However, it is essential that we do not lower our guard and strictly comply with biosecurity measures to avoid contagion of Covid-19, ”said Berta Alicia Paredes, administrator of the Omar Recreational and Cultural Park.e

The park facilities will be open from Monday to Friday  but will be closed for the weekend total quarantine. Minors may attend in the company of an adult who responsible for their safety and the use of masks and alcohol or alcohol gel.

Paredes reported that the facilities will be guarded by the staff of the Institutional Protection Service of Panama, which has the power to withdraw users who fail to comply with the established measures.

The swimming pool and sports fields (soccer, baseball and volleyball) will remain closed
