CSS halts consultations,elective surgery

The Social Security Fund (CSS) has suspended outpatient consultation and elective surgeries in the facilities of Panama and Panama Oeste due to the covid situation in the country.

While this suspension lasts, the personnel in these areas will be reinforcing emergency medical care, hospitalizations, and traceability equipment in each unit where they work. In addition, a clinic will be set up for the care of patients, especially for those with chronic diseases, vulnerable groups, pregnant women and infants. The measure is taken to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and the movement of people during the quarantine period.
