Covid-19 cases  near 100,000 with 2,217 deaths

The 673 new cases of coronavirus were on  Thursday, September 10 , raises the total number of people who have been infected since the first cases were reported six months ago to  99,715

Of this total, 72,203 have recovered.  The  Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that 11 new deaths bring the total to  2,127.

To date, 5,075 tests have been applied, with 13%, positivity.

There are  25,385 active cases.

The hospitalized number stands at 1,277 with  1,142 are in the ward and 135 in intensive care units.
