Construction projects restart after 6 months hiatus
Construction projects will restart in Panama, from Monday, September 7 under controlled conditions to guarantee a healthy return meanwhile traffic will be heading towards the old normal.
Only 500 workers per project will be allowed and they will carry a note on company letterhead carrying their name, identification number, work permit, residential address, and workplace replacing safe conduct pass.
Projects will operate from Monday to Saturday, with the exception of those regions that have established special curfews.
If the site needs more than 500 workers it must have the authorization of the Ministry of Health
Working hours, will be from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and for one month, overtime will not be allowed.
Employers must provide their workers with biosecurity implements, such as alcoholic gel, masks, gloves, and other essentials.
