Police capture eighth suspect in tourist rape and robbery

An eighth suspect involved in the robbery and rape of  Norwegian tourists was captured on Friday, August 7, in the Nombre de Dios sector, by agents of the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ).

The crime took place on  November 8, 2019.  In Nombre de Dios, when  eight masked men armed with knives and a firearm  boarded the sailboat Alibaba carrying four Norwegian men and two women.
