Limited return to construction work at Terminal 2
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has given the go-ahead for the restart of work on parking lots for terminal 2 of Tocumen International Airport which has been on hold along with all construction projects since March 26.
Only 160 workers will be returning at this stage.
“Contractors are warned that they must carry out these projects only and exclusively. Active workers must reside in the areas surrounding the project or in the province. If workers from other areas are required, they must have an antigen test or PCR, prior to the start of work, and they will not be able to leave until their completion, ”says a statement from the air terminal.
Contractors must comply with the guidelines for the return to the post-COVID-19 normality for companies.
