Sahara dust continues over Panama

Microparticles of dust from the Sahara were still hanging in  the skies over the capital city  and parts of  some provinces on Thursday and will remain through Friday, July 15

The dust generated by large sand storms, in Adrica was brought  across the Atlantic by trade winds and arrived  on the isthmus on June 24

Julissa Rivera, forecaster of the Electric Transmission Company (Etesa), explained the particles have entered the Guna Yala region, the provinces of Panama, Colon and some parts of the interior of the country.
