Interhospital control center as virus cases reach 32,785
With an increase of 1,099 new cases in 24 hours the total of detected COVID-19 cases in Panama swelled to 32,785 on Sunday, June 28 and the death total rose to 620.
He adds that the patients recovered are 15,595 and There were 3,225 tests for the coronavirus bringing the total to 128,795.There are 15,679 in isolation and (718 in hospital hotels).

As the virus threatens hospital capacity, an Interhospital Control Center was installed on Monday, June 29 at the Ministry of Health headquarters, to coordinate between Minsa and the Social Security Fund (CSS).
The center aims to “make a permanent analysis of the installed capacity of the different medical centers in the country to provide more efficient care and facilitate their management and lead to the proper administration of each of the hospitals.”
