923 coronavirus  cases in one day sets new record

Panama added   923  new cases of COVID- 19 in the last 24 hours,  the highest daily total since the pandemic arrived, bringing the total of recorded infections to 24,274 The Ministry of Health reported that 10 deaths on Friday, June 19,  raised the total to 485.  

There are 9,430 active cases with 8,804 in  home  isolation, 503 in hospital wards and 123 in Intensive Care

The Social Security Fund (CSS) reported, that the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Complex ‘Dr. Arnulfo Arias Madrid) is close to reaching its maximum capacity
