55%  of virus patients have recovered

Some 55% of the patients who tested positive for Covid-19 in Panama are clinically recovered, said   Minister of Health, Rosario Turner, on Sunday, May 10. 

The total number of cases accumulated to date is 8,448 and those clinically recovered total 4,687,  Until Sunday the virus has killed 244 people.

There are 3,188, in-home isolation, and of these 996 are in hospital hotels. Of  329, hospitalized patients  242 are in wards and 87 in intensive care units.
