Curfew breakers convert to street cleaners

Scores  of people arrested for breaching the COV-19 quarantine walked the streets of La Chorrera, on Sunday, April 12  carrying brooms mops and buckets as they headed to clean the streets with soap and water to fulfill their community service sentences handed down by a Justice of the Peace and to send a message to anyone considering breaking the weekend total lockdown.

They were accompanied by police and security personnel  who later in the day returned to rounding up more offenders  in search of a cleaning job.
