Weekend humanitarian flights to Canada, the USA bring total past 15
Over 15 humanitarian flights carrying residents and stranded tourists to Canada, the USA, Brazil, and other countries have departed from Tocumen International in the midst of the global pandemic that has closed More than 15 humanitarian flights in recent weeks amid the pandemic due to the new coronavirus, which forced the closure of most of the world’s air terminals, including Tocumen.
Claudio Dutari, operations manager of Tocumen International said: “The airport has served as a platform to support these humanitarian repatriation flights.”
