OPINION: Chaos will also hurt provocateurs

It is not easy, but it is the only way. We all have a role in preventing the spread of the pandemic. Ours is the easy part -to stay at home-, if we consider the risks of contagion of health personnel and anyone who is necessary for the services that they provide due to their importance for the rest of society: pharmacies, supermarkets, gas stations, etc. In those places, life is risked.

But some still don’t listen: we already know the risk of ending up in an intensive care room; the risk that there are no beds in these rooms, but the attitude is of little importance in many cases.

Now to all this the looting attempts are added; to sew chaos; to impose the law of the strongest, when reason forces us to be civilized, to remain calm. We all hope that these are isolated, spontaneous movements, that they do not respond to plans drawn up by the soulless who seek to destabilize the country, its economy and destroy the order that would allow us to get out of this crisis. If there is chaos, we will all lose, even those who try to fish in a troubled river. This is a small country, where everything is known, sooner or later. – LA PRENSA, Mar. 30.
