CLAP FOR PANAMA CORONAVIRUS FRONTLINE HEROES
The nightly clapping and pot banging in support of health care workers and others in the front line in the fight against the coronavirus began in Italy and quickly spread across Europe to the UK.
On Sunday, March 29, at 7 pm Panamanians are invited to put their hands together in tribute to those still fighting and those who have already given their lives.
A message circulating on social l media says: Please, all of you, Moms, Dads, Grandparents and Great-grandparents, children and people of all ages, go and stand at your front door or on your balcony and clap your hands, shout out loud, bang pots and pans for 2 minutes to give thanks for our health care workers and all first responders. Let them hear how much we appreciate their hard work and how much we love them.
