Copa “extraodinary: flights for stranded Argentinians
Some 400 Argentinians Argentine citizens stranded at Tocumen International Airport since Saturday, March 21 will be flying home on Copa Airlines on extraordinary flights. that will take off early Monday, March 23 after negotiations between the Argentine Embassy in Panama, the airline and the Argentine government.
There were to be three extraordinary flights, for Argentinians who were already in Panama and would depart at 1:10 am, 2:10 am and 3:10 am
The flights were valid only for Argentines who had airline tickets and were ready to leave Panama but stayed in the country as a result of the restrictions that Argentina imposed on planes that were destined for Ezeiza International Airport
The flights were the last from Tocumen, which is now closed to international travel, in and out.
