Panama Curfew  from 9 pm to 5 am Starts  Wednesday, March 18    

Panama  President, Laurentino  Cortizo has declared a national curfew from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am,  starting on Wednesday Macyh 18 due to the mounting crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The measure became effective through the publication of Executive Decree No. 490 of March 17, signed by Cortizo and Health Minister Rosario Turner

Ministry of Health personnel, and  personnel of the Social Security Fund,  and personnel of the Panama

Fire Department, among other state entities and certain senior officials, are exempted.
