75 grassland fires in two days of Carnival

In the first two days of  Panama Carnival festivities there were 75 grassland fires in different parts of, according to reports from the Panama Fire Department.

The areas with the greatest amount in the provinces of Panama, Cocle and Panama Oeste. Colonel Roderick Salcedo, first chief commander of the regional area of Coclé recommended that the population avoid activities that promote plant fires that affect the people, flora and fauna and represent a danger for residences, According to figures  from the Fire Department until the end  of  January, about 415  plant  mass fires were attended throughout the country
