Traffic cop and  citizens  capture armed man who stole American’s Rolex

A Venezuelan armed  with a pistol stole a Rolex watch from an American tourist staying at the DoubleTree  Hotel near the El Carmen church in Via  España on Wednesday, October 30.

Hotel staff tried to stop the thief but he fired into the air and fled. A police officer on traffic duty on Ave Federico  Boyd managed to stop him and was aided by passing pedestrians and taxi drivers. The capture went viral on social media.
