Trial of suspects in escape of Israeli prisoner suspended

A hearing against seven people linked to  the prison  escape of  Israeli  scam artist Shy Dahan, set  for Monday

Shy Dahan was extradited from Spain to Panama for a scam case of more than half a million dollars, and remained in detention from March 16, 2018, until his escape on June 14 of that year.

 At a hearing last year,  the prosecutor said that the detainee was moving inside La Joyita prison with little custody and the authorities notify of his escape, one day after it occurred, which prevented the activation of roadblocks and delayed a search.
