Lawyer’s Murder Suspect Give Blood For DNA Test

Experts from the  Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Imelcf) took  blood from Cristóbal Jiménez to establish his DNA  

He is the main suspect and charged with the murder of the lawyer and former captain of the National Police (PN) Francisco Tony Grajales .

 The results will be used so that the Prosecutor’s Office for Homicide and Femicide, , can make comparisons with remains or fluids that are at the scene of the crime elsewhere,

Judicial sources reported that blood tests were performed last week with Jiménez’s consent.

hand, Kevin Moncada, the lawyer for the widow Jessica Canto, said that another of the proceedings they expect is related to the results of the analysis of the caps and the 9 mm caliber firearm, found in the apartment at PH Mysttic, which was rented by Jiménez. These investigations are being carried out by ballistics experts.

Jiménez is in preventive detention.

The Grajales died on September 30 after receiving several shots from his assailant, when he was in a van on 11th Street in  Las Acacias,  Don Bosco district.
