Metro Line 1 woes continue with Friday stoppage
Damage to rush hour a train on Line 1 of the Panama Metro on Friday October 11 led to the service being paralyzed for the second time in the same week.
TVN reports that breakdowns are increasingly frequent, causing disruption to thousands of travelers.
Users urge representatives of the Metro de Panamá SA, to solve the failures that cause the service to stop so frequently.
About half an hour later the system could be restored.
On September 26, there was a failure in the braking system of a train and Metro de Panama SA, said that Alstom, manufacturer of the trains, had been required to carry out inspections and correct any defaults.
