Farewell to firefighter killed in El Chorrillo blaze

Family, friends, fellow firefighters from the Panama Fire Department and national authorities attended the funeral service of  Sergeant Manuel Naar and paid tribute to his heroism on Thursday, September 25. Naar died on  Sunday, when a gas tank exploded while he was battling a fire in El Chorrillo. He managed to push an injured companion to safety. The fire left 13 families homeless.
