Second Red Cross aid plane leaves Panama for Bahamas

Hurricane Dorian has left 70,000 people homeless and at least 43 dead by noon on Saturday. Hundreds are still missing and the eventual death toll is forecast to be “catastrophic.”
“Bringing help to people in need is our number one priority. We are trying our best to get to hard-to-reach places,” said the federation, whose headquarters for Latin America is located in Panama.
