Alcohol tests for ex-Securities boss
The former Supervisor of the Securities Market Superintendency (SMV), Ignacio Fábrega has to undergo alcohol and anti-doping tests by the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.
At a Wednesday hearing, in Plaza Ágora, a compliance judge confirmed that Fábrega complies with the conditions of community work but ordered the tests.
On March 28, 2018, the ex-director of the SMV, serving five years imprisonment, exchanged his jail cell for community work.
He was sentenced in September 2015, after pleading guilty to giving confidential information to the [now defuct] Financial Pacific
Later, the same compliance judge suspended the community work measure and ordered his return to prison, but, the Court of Appeals revoked the decision.
