Forger students lose scholarships
Students in Chiriqui who have falsified notes or signatures in school bulletins will not receive benefits this year from of the Universal Scholarship or other programs developed by the Institute for the Formation and Use of Human Resources (IFHARU), says director Luzmila Hurtado.
Hurtado said that after detecting a network that falsified school reports and allowed the collection of many of the benefits in December 2018, new procedures were applied to avoid fresh irregularities.
We are sending a message that we will not allow these acts of corruption, said Hurtado, in the midst of the delivery of about $7 million of the Universal Scholarship in Chiriqui.
