Colombia plane crash kills 12
A Douglas DC-3 plane carrying at least 12 people crashed in the center east of Colombia, on Saturday, March 9.
The aircraft belonging to the Laser company was flying between the cities of San José del Guaviare and Villavicencio, declared an emergency at around 1040 and was later found in La Bendición, said Civil Aeronautics of Colombia it’s a statement.
“Unfortunately, according to the information provided by rescue agencies there are no survivors,” Civil Defense reported on Twitter that there are “12 people killed”
The Douglas DC-3 is a US-manufactured twin-engine aircraft with a capacity for up to 30 passengers.
The aeronautical authority said it is working on “specifying the number and identity of the occupants.
