Arraiján-La Chorrera highway closures

The Arraiján-La Chorrera highway at Montelimar will be closed late night to early morning in early morning hours from Friday, February 22 until Tuesday 26 while work is underway

to install nine beams for the construction of a vehicular bridge Three beams will be placed each at night until the 9 are completed, during the scheduled days. The work schedule will be from 10 o’clock at night to 4 o’clock in the morning.

The highway will be closed only in that area of work, during the established schedule and vehicles will have to go through the detours that were established in the residential area of Montelimar and Costa Verde.

For those traveling to the interior, they will have to enter the Montelimar neighborhood, until the  roundabout and return to the highway

The objective of this project is to create relief in these residential areas and to improve traffic in areas of high commercial activity.

It will still be necessary to finish other works, such as slabs and accessories so other closures will be upcoming
