Rivera called to family court for child support

 

The New York Yankees, famed closer and Hall-of Famer Mariano Rivera, appear before a  Family Court hearing on Thursday, March 21 to answer a request of the mother of- two children one aged 10 and one 15  in which she demands education and extracurricular expenses, judicial sources told La Prensa.

On January 22, Rivera became the first player in history to be elected to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame, unanimously. His induction to the museum of the immortals in of Cooperstown, New York, will take place on July 21.

The historic leader in games saved in the majors (652) was in Panama on Monday, February 4 to make the ceremonial pitch of honor in the Caribbean Series, which took place at the Rod Carew Stadium.P Panama went on to win the series.
