Pan-American highway indefinite four lane shut down
All four lanes of the Pan-American Highway from Loma Cová to the entrance of Panama Pacifico will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 23 for the replacement of a storm pipe in the vicinity of Loma Cova and the rehabilitation of the road, following the collapse of the existing pipeline that dates back several decades, says the Ministry of Public Works (MOP)
Vehicles that heading to the capital city and inland must use the Centennial road, while repairs are made. The entrances and exits in Panama Pacifico, Rodman and Cocolí will remain open.
